Prototype ABIF Researcher Portal

The ABIF Researcher Portal is still under development, but is now available for users to trial. (Note: Not all data-sets are complete).

It is available at: http://anic.ento.csiro.au/AbifPortal/gui/main.html

Web Services

The services provided by ABIF centre around Web Services. These services provide data access and are used for both locating and retreiving data. The following web services are currently available, but note that as ABIF is currently under development new modules are being added at regular intervals.

The Taxon Name Service is available as both a web site and web service.

Biodiversity Analysis Tool (BAT)

BAT is a simple on-line tool for basic biodiversity queries. BAT displays maps of species richness, endemism and taxonomic diversity. BAT has been created as a demonstration project (2004) for the Global Biodiversity Information Facility (GBIF). For further details please see the BAT Home Page.
